From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane

The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that’s who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers…and she’s just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can’t get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they’ll go to save each other.

WHAT IS THE DEAL, KATIE MCGARRY!

I read Pushing the Limits and I hate Beth.

Then in Dare You To I really thoroughly enjoy her.

But in Dare You To I hate — and I mean DESPISE — Isaiah.

Well, BOOM, here comes Crash Into You and I think he’s the bee’s knees.

What is this! Three cheers for an author who can totally suck me into her main character’s point of view and alter my opinions from book to book. Don’t you love it when an author totally turns around your opinion about a character you thought you knew?

Anyhoo. I think this series is really soap operay, but I love that from time to time. Definitely check it out if you like your YA angsty. Oh, and bonus factor: There’s Fast & Furious-style drag racing!

You hated Isaiah? That’s it, he’s mine.

I read a digital ARC and just pre-ordered a hard cover so Isaiah and I can snuggle in bed. ;D

McGarry’s books may be soap opera-ish at times but she sure can write some dreamy male protagonists! 🙂 I’m still swoony over Noah from Pushing the limits. Can’t wait for Isaiah’s story – I’ve already pre-ordered Crash Into You.

Ha, I felt the exact same way about Beth and when I heard this one was going to be about isaiah, I wanted to cry! I love McGarry’s writing, but I never thought I could like those two characters!!! Haven’t read Crash Into You, yet, but really looking forward to it!
