NOTE: I am ridiculous and started a list called “Things I Like in Books.” These are drawings of the things on that list. Truly AWFUL drawings. I am now going to share them with you one at a time. Mostly on Saturdays. Okay, here we go.
I like it when books revolve around baked goods.
Examples: What? I’m gluten-free; I gotta get my taste of it somewhere! Fave examples include Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler and The Sweetest Thing by Christina Mandelski.

Ooooo good one! I like it when it’s revolved around food in general, doesn’t have to be only sweet goodies.

I was JUST thinking about this the other night. My thought process went.. I want to open a bakery… you know I like books where they work at a bakery or own a bakery.. la la la la
Also, I am gluten-free too, so I totally get it!

I love foodie books too. My weakness is food cozies but YA books with someone who bakes and/or decorates cakes are also good!

I’ve never read a book about cupcakes…or any type of baked goods, really. I’m really looking forward to reading a few. Any suggestions?
