NOTE: I am ridiculous and started a list called “Things I Like in Books.” These are drawings of the things on that list. Truly AWFUL drawings. I am now going to share them with you one at a time. Mostly on Saturdays. Okay, here we go.
I like it when books feature winter sports.
Examples: Oh, don’t get me wrong…I can’t do a SINGLE winter sports. Which is like I like to read about them in books like Jennifer Echols’ The Ex Games and Justina Chen’s Girl Overboard.

Sorry to this stick figure girl, as I made her hair look totally fug. What can I say, maybe she mussed it up while kissing in a snow drift?

I just read The Paris Wife and they go skiing tons and even though the one time I did I sucked it kinda made me want to rent a cabin and pretend I am going skiing but then just drink hot chocolate the whole time!

I think the only book I’ve read with winter sports is one of the Vampire Academy books…Frostbite? I’m not sure, but I should read more! The drawing is fantastic!

The Ex Games is the one I immediately thought of-loved that book! I don’t usually seek out books with sports but I’ll read them if I stumble across them.

Have you read Smart Girls Get What They Want? Two of the characters join the ski team! I think you’d really like it.
