Awesome list! I love how you paired the costume with the books. And I loved Anna Dressed in Blood – and Cinder too.

Hahaha Love your list! I read Scary Stories in 3rd or 4th grade and the librarian warned me about how scary it was when I checked it out. I was all like ‘I can handle it!’ (except I probably said something different because I was 9). Holy crap did it scare me! I read it with my mom and it scared her too.

I love your approach to this! Sadly, of the books you’ve mentioned, I’ve only read THE LIGHTNING THIEF and NEVERMORE, but the rest are on my TBR pile. Clearly I need to get going.

I liked Born Wicked and I thought Nevermore was great (I can’t wait see how that trilogy wraps up). After seeing it so often, I might actually have to read Anna Dressed in Blood.
