NOTE: I am ridiculous and started a list called “Things I Like in Books.” These are drawings of the things on that list. Truly AWFUL drawings. I am now going to share them with you one at a time. Mostly on Saturdays. Okay, here we go.
I like it when books make me sob like a demented little baby.
Latest example: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, obviously. Sometimes you just have to let it all out, and books are a great way to do that!
We definitely covered this already in my post from earlier this week — but you guys responded so enthusiastically I just wanted to mention it again here to say thank you for all your Sobfest 2012 book recommendations! Love it!

Hahaha This one is great! We like different things though because I’m not a fan of books that make me cry. I make myself read like one a year though to stretch my comfort zone.

I still haven’t read Fault in Our Stars because I’m afraid of the sobfest, however, Lauren Oliver’s Pandemonium was a total, unexpected sobfest for me. I cried from beginning to end and couldn’t put it down for even a second.

I find it very cathartic to cry when I read a book. It’s a welcome release of emotion!
