When you write a blog, you often get asked for stats: page views, followers, etc.
I get why those things are important. Really, I do.
But, if you ask me, there are some statistics that, well, speak more to what I do on this blog. Here are the super-duper factual* facts that you should know about me, the type of books I read and this blog…
(Erm, do I have the X and Y axis flipflopped on this one? WHATEVER, can you see why I became a writer, not a scientist?)
*Nope. Actually, not factual whatsoever. Sorry? J/k?
PS: This is totally inspired by my new favorite website – check it out!

This post is brilliant, Anna. You are by far a clever, lovely person who should make more posts like this one (also, make more posts of “things I love in books” or whatever the name of your new cartoon-y series was called, I LOVE your stick figures!!) ^_^

love it! I know how you feel. Some really smart guy I know found out that I had a book blog and wanted to look at it. I happily gave him the link and then he complained that they were books he definitely would not read. Apparently, some people think they are above YA or gushing about the coolest things and the steamy moments. And as for “Kissing” “literary stuff” etc, i think a review with a lot of personality put into it will definitely get more reads and be understood by more people than one that goes on and on about the use of irony.
